Agriculture Committee
Comprised of Chamber Board members, Clemson Extension and AgSouth representatives, Laurens County Farm Bureau leaders, and Agribusiness owners within Laurens County. Helps promote and educate the important role Agriculture plays in the overall economy of Laurens County through annual activities. Annually we celebrate AGweek (in support of National Ag Week) to showcase the economic benefits, health benefits, and personality agriculture businesses and supporting organizations contribute to Laurens County through social media sites, newsletters, and local media resources. The annual Industry & AgTour is hosted, in the fall, of each year. In 2018, an Agriculture website was designed and created, www.visitlaurenscounty.com/agriculture, to highlight the economic impact of Agriculture in Laurens County and to become a resource of Agriculture information, encouraging local support.
