We are so excited and proud to have our new umbrella organization Keep Laurens County Beautiful! We had the pleasure to partner with PalmettoPride, SCDOT, Keep Laurens County Beautiful, and Lt. Governor Pamela Evette to kick off the #GrabABagSC litter pickup campaign. The event, held at the Laurens County Airport, began with remarks from Lt. Governor Pamela Evette, Christy Hall Secretary of Transportation, Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Policy for Duke Energy SC Heather Shirley Smith, Laurens County Council Chair Brown Patterson, KLCB Affiliate Coordinator Courtney Stonell, and Executive Director for PalmettoPride Sarah Lyles followed by a joint litter clean up. Attendees "grabbed a bag" and picked up litter along Torrington Road and surrounding areas.
