Ambassador Spotlight - Lee Anne Kitchen
Tell us about yourself.
I am a hard-working and driven individual who isn't afraid to face a challenge. I'm passionate about my work and I know how to get the job done. I would describe myself as an open and honest person who doesn't believe in misleading other people and tries to be fair in everything I do. I am a wife, the mother of three wonderful adults and grandmother to three adorable granddaughters. In 2021, I earned a certification as a yoga instructor. My hobbies are yoga, traveling and enjoying my family & friends every opportunity I get! Striving to live my life’s motto of “Be the change you wish to see in the world” daily is a goal I set for myself many years ago. We are only granted a certain amount of time on earth. So, be the best version of yourself with that granted time!
Where do you work, and what do you like about your job?
I work with Roper Staffing in Laurens as the Branch Manager. I enjoy working with Laurens County’s top companies to provide them with the most qualified employment talent that is available.
Tell us about your roles with the Chamber.
As a member of the Chamber take advantage of the networking opportunities that help me expand my visibility in the community. One of those opportunities is the Ambassador Program that has enabled me to engage with current and new businesses in the Laurens area.
Why do you love Laurens County?
Laurens County has played a huge part in the person I am today. My grandparents and extended family have lived in Joanna my entire life. Having the influence of this county has shown me that great people exist and thrive in small town life. The people of Laurens County are the things I love about the county!
