Ambassador Spotlight - Amber Graydon
Tell us about yourself.
I am Amber Graydon, a native of Laurens County. I love concerts, people, and spending time at the lake. I have always had a deep passion for connecting and helping others. I have been married to my husband, Corey, for 10 years this year and together we share three beautiful children—Emmett, Roman, and Izzy.
Tell us about your job.
I am the Director of Business Development at Hospice of Laurens County, where I have been for 7 years. There are so many things that I love about my job but this position has given me an opportunity to meet people and be involved in this community, all while helping to educate and guide people through some of the most difficult and intimate times in their lives.
Tell us about your roles with the Chamber.
I have served as an Ambassador for the chamber since 2017 when I began to make it a habit of attending Chamber events, Business After Hours, ribbon cuttings, and talking about the chamber as I met people throughout the day. I graduated Leadership Laurens in 2018 before being voted in as a member of the Board of Regents. I am currently the Chair of the Board of Regents for Leadership Laurens.
Why do you love Laurens County?
I love the sense of community that you can feel here, I have always loved that about Laurens County. There have been so many positive changes here over the last several years and there are so many more to come. It is exciting to be able to be a small part of that growth. Laurens County has so many things to offer without having to leave the county.
