Christian Taylor joins us as our new Tourism Marketing Manager. Christian, originally from Greenville, SC, relocated to northern Laurens County in 2019. Since graduating from Furman University, with a B.A in Business Administration, she worked for the Greenville County School District’s STEAM program, while developing her freelance work in branding.  Christian’s goal under the Chamber umbrella will be to create and manage a comprehensive program of tourism development and promotion for Laurens County. Her primary responsibility is to grow tourism-related revenues in Laurens County through the effective use of strategic planning, community asset enhancement, industry promotion, relationship building, and evolving tourism practices. This will include public relations, marketing, advertising, social media, event planning, and various promotions in partnership with County municipalities.

The entire Chamber team works to promote, strengthen, and develop Laurens County by connecting organizations, supporting businesses, and building community. The newest team members look forward to supporting this mission and working with and for Laurens County.
