South Carolina is proud to host the 5th Annual Southeastern U.S.-Canadian Provinces Alliance (SEUS-CP) trade conference in Myrtle Beach this upcoming May 20-22. In an effort to promote trade and investment opportunities, the conference will connect over 300 Canadian and U.S. business and government leaders at the Marriott Resort and Spa at Grand Dunes.
SEUS-CP aims to form strategic partnerships between states in the southeastern United States and member provinces from Canada. This upcoming program will focus on opportunities for companies in advanced manufacturing, technology, and green economy sectors, as well as highlighting commercial exchanges and increased two-way trade. The business-to-business matchmaking program provided at the conference is a great way to not only expand business in the participating regions, but also an excellent opportunity to meet with key decision makers. Governor Nikki Haley will host the event and New Brunswick’s Premier David Alward will cohost, and the conference will be attended by numerous heads of delegations from other member provinces and states.
Connections with Canada have proven fruitful for participating companies—as Gov. Haley notes, “Canada alone purchased more than $3.7 billion in products” in 2011, and the upcoming conference will offer participants even more opportunities to strengthen and build relationships with the provinces. To take advantage of the conference’s benefits, including matchmaking programs and panel discussions, please visit www.seuscp.com to register.
